Heavenly Resort, Lake Tahoe In order to stimulate increased ski pass sales, Heavenly Resort Lake Tahoe engaged GoGORILLA Media to plan and manage an unusual promotion: A fully wrapped and branded sno-cone truck staffed by GoGORILLA’s actor/models surprised passersby in San Francisco with humorous performances and free sno-cone eating competitions. Crowds stopped to watch the spectacles and lines formed to sample the tasty treats. Sno-cone lovers were prompted to follow the truck on Twitter and Facebook. The campaign was a success as measured in three ways: 1) The targeted number of ski passes were sold, 2) There was a large increase in Facebook and Twitter followers and 3) Anecdotal and press feedback was positive.
